(Jacob, Mustafaa and Renae with their awards) Congratulations to Mustafaa Olomi on winning the Queensland Taekwondo 2008 Junior Athlete of the year award, Renae Perkins for the Outstanding Athlete Achievement award and Jacob White for Athlete Achievement award. These awards are presented by Taekwondo Australia Queensland Division to its top members (athletes) in recognitions of their hard work, dedication, sacrifice and hours of training as well as competiting in various club, state, national and international competitions. Each athlete is given points on their various achievements through out the yea, and at the end of the year all the points are tallied up to find the overall winner, similar to our trophy and awards presentation (now if only our state could follow the same fashion).
